Soroptimist Leadership & Mentoring programme for the Benelux countries

What do we offer you?

Soroptimist BeNeLux offers a leadership & mentoring program in which young ambitious women will discover and further develop their leadership talents. The program is designed for women with a minimum of 2 years working experience in all sectors and professions: Private, Social or Government. You will get the opportunity to grow as a person and interact with other participants to share experiences and learn from each other.

What can you expect?

An inspiring program that combines physical workshops, online meetings and personal mentoring. The full program has 3 building blocks and each block covers different topics. After the 1st building block, you can apply for the follow-up program and the accompanying mentoring.
If you do, your mentor will be a woman with a proven track record who is passionate about sharing her knowledge and the lessons she learned.

Joining only the 1st block is an option.

PROGRAM:

1st Building Block – Leadership Foundation Weekend
During 2 days you will be immersed in the 5 C’s of Leadership:
Communication | Commitment | Collaboration | Connecting | Caring for others and yourself

Takeaways of this weekend:
• Difference between management and leadership
• Your pitfalls and opportunities in communication
• How to turn resistance into understanding and positivity
• Your preferred leadership style
• Giving and getting feedback

2nd Building Block – Leadership Encounter Weekend
You will learn how to coach others, empower them, influence people without using authority, manage conflicts and take into account the needs of your team members .

Takeaways of this weekend:
• Coaching techniques and skills
• Authentic approach and strengths as a coach
• Translate other people’s pain points into action
• Tools to manage conflicts
• Help other people to find their own answers

3rd Building Block – Leadership and Self-care Weekend
The most important relationship in life is with yourself. How do you keep this relationship under control? In interactive workshops you will get to know your inner strengths and your little devils that prevent you from being the best version of yourself.

Takeaways of this weekend:
• Build self-awareness and emotional intelligence
• Manage yourself effectively
• Respect and guard your own limits
• Become more assertive in life
• Build confidence


PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

• Duration of program: 8 months
• 1st Building Block: 22 & 23 September 2023
• 2nd Building Block: 26 & 27 January 2024
• 3rd Building Block: 14 & 15 June 2024
• Cost: € 220,00 per building block, including:
o 2 full training days including lunch and breaks
o Dinner on the first night
o 1 overnight stay including breakfast
o Free mentoring program
o Expanded network of interesting women
o Time away from your busy life ;-)
